As we partner with pastors and church leaders to develop strong churches around the world, there are also constant physical needs that arise in the process of spiritual growth.

We believe God has called the Church to minister to both the spiritual and the physical needs of people.

During our Global Church Focus, God has led us to focus solely on the renovation needs for Reborn Community Church in Garfield Park, Chicago. Currently, the church is meeting in a 100-year-old fire station that consists of two main bays with an upstairs. Right now, the church is only able to use the downstairs on both sides. One side is the main sanctuary and the other side is more of an all purpose space. Upstairs there is much space that has already been framed in to create rooms for classes, other ministry needs, and offices that all need to be finished in order to be used. Altogether, the church is need of $100,000 to complete all of their renovation needs.

In terms of the needs that exist in Garfield Park, coupled with the rapport and relationships that Curtis and Michelle Thompson and their church leadership team has built in the community, if they were able to complete this renovation, we believe their ministry potential and opportunities could explode. Therefore, this year, our FBC Global Missions Team believes that God would have us focus solely on this one large need for Reborn Community Church.
