Mark Carey - Teaching Pastor
Mark joined the staff of FBC in January 1990. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, a Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and did his doctoral study at Denver Seminary. Prior to coming to FBC, Mark served as pastor for nine years in Nebraska. He and his wife Lisa have four children and two grandchildren. You can email Mark at markc@fbcva.org.

John Morrison - Pastor of Family Ministries
John joined the staff of FBC in September 1993. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, a MABS degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and his MABC degree from Grace Seminary. Prior to coming to FBC, John worked as a counselor and Bible teacher for eight years in Texas. He and his wife Diane have four children. You can email John at johnm@fbcva.org

Don Den Hartog - Pastor of Biblical Education
Don joined the staff of FBC in August 2004. He received his bachelor’s degree from Grace University and a Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to FBC, Don served as pastor for nine years in North Dakota, five years in Iowa and six years in Kansas. He and his wife Patty have four children and three grandchildren. John Avery - Pastor of Student Ministries
John joined the staff of FBC in July 2001. He received his bachelor’s degree from Moody Bible Institute. Prior to coming to FBC, John served as youth pastor for fourteen years in Illinois. He and his wife Susan have five children. You can email John at johna@fbcva.org

Mike Lukens - Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts
Mike joined the staff of FBC in October 1991. He received his bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia College of Bible and has also received extensive training with Sonlife Ministries. He and his wife Laurie have three children. You can email Mike at mikel@fbcva.org

Charlie Spencer - Pastor of Children's Ministries
Charlie joined the staff of FBC in May 2005. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a MABS degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Rich Brito - Pastor of Community Impact Ministries
Rich joined the staff of FBC in September 1997. Prior to joining the FBC team, Rich worked in management in the computer field for seventeen years. He also served in various capacities as a lay leader at FBC. He and his wife Karen have one child. You can email Rich at richb@fbcva.org

Tim McManigle - Pastor of Missions

Scott McManigle - Assoc. Pastor of Missions

Scott Santmier - Pastor of Small Groups and Evangelism

Greg Peterson - Middle School Youth Intern

Andrew Behm - Executive Pastor
Andrew joined the staff of FBC in June 2007. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Texas – San Antonio. Prior to joining the FBC team, Andrew worked in the marketing field for seventeen years. He also served in various capacities as a lay leader at FBC. His wife’s name is Jennifer.
