Women in the Word

Women in the Word is a deductive Bible study that meets weekly(no summer study) on Tuesday mornings(9:30-11-45) and evenings (7-9). Our classes are open to all women who desire to grow in their understanding of God’s Word and in their personal walk with Jesus Christ.

The study is designed to enable and encourage women to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ" through worship in song, teaching, prayer, group discussion and fellowship.

There is a Personal Study time with study books that are used during the week and discussed on each Tuesday.
There is a time of Praise and Worship in Song—followed by a Teaching(lecture style) on the scripture passage to be later discussed.
There is a Discussion Group session, after each teaching (led by a trained leader), to discuss and share the studybook lesson as we listen and learn from one another. A time of prayer is also a vital part of the group time .

The friendships and fellowship that our group members enjoy as they meet together often form lasting bonds. Any woman is invited to join us.

"LITTLE HEARTS FOR JESUS" - our childcare ministry for the children of women who attend our Tuesday morning Bible Study session.

Children—ages nursery -5 yrs.—are ministered to through the loving care of women who have a heart for children. They will be taught Bible stories, learn songs of praise, have playtime, make a craft that illustrates their Bible story and enjoy a snack.

We ask, if it’s within your budget, to donate $2 per child per week. We have permanent childcare workers so that your child will see a familiar face each Tuesday.
