Current Vision of Global Missions

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” - Ephesians 4:11-13

For over three decades, Fellowship Bible Church has been living out this biblical mandate that God designed for the local church and its structure. Our primary purpose statement encapsulates that mandate; “Preparing and deploying dependent disciples who change their world as they are being changed by Christ.”

We as a body have been living this out not only through our own efforts to teach and disciple our own body, but also through the carrying out of our personal involvement in the work of the ministry (evangelism and discipleship) both locally and globally. We have reached a point at this time where we are seeing God bringing the two together.

Families who have been a part of FBC for decades, who have raised their families here at FBC, who have been discipled by our pastors and their ministry teams, are now seeing God lead their children into a desire to be involved in full-time ministry both here at FBC, as well as around the world.

So, in a sense, we are seeing this all come full circle, and we as a Mission’s leadership team are extremely excited about it and very much view it as God increasing our church’s direct involvement in global missions.
