Family Camp

June 8-13, 2025

Informational Meeting

Join us on Sunday, January 5, at 12:30 PM in the Hospitality Suite to learn more about Family Camp.  Lunch will be provided, please let us know you are coming.

Are you looking for opportunities to partner with Global Missions? Family Camp offers a unique way to serve with your family, right in our own country! FBC is joining First Nations Baptist Fellowship for their annual camp next summer. 2025 marks our third year helping to facilitate this highly anticipated event. Thank you for your interest in joining our team!

See what Family Camp is all about!

Things to know

Family Camp is a highly relational experience, which encompasses biblical training, engaging activities, and lots of fellowship! While our Global Missions pastors teach adult attendees, our team will work with the nursery, elementary-aged children, and youth. In the afternoons, we get to know one another through a variety of activities, including: hiking, crafts, gaga ball, human foosball, horseback riding, archery, and more! In the evenings we spend time learning more about other cultures, and enjoying s'mores around the campfire. As you can imagine, it takes many hands to carry out these exciting plans.
Each participant/family is responsible for covering their own logistics and cost of travel to Medora, ND.
Participants will be assigned to a team; however, you may be asked to help in a different or additional area, depending on the needs of the camp.  Background check and Ministry Safe Training is required.
FBC will provide the following during the camp:
  • A basic campsite for a tent with showers and bathroom facilities nearby (there are some RV spots available if you have an RV).  If space allows, we may be able to provide accommodations in one of the family cabins or lodge spaces. However, we may not know the exact availability of these spaces until we get to camp. The Lakota word for "white" man is wasicu, which means, he who takes the better half. Keeping this cultural fact in mind, we will prioritize the First Nation churches' comfort over our own.
  • Nearby hotels are available at your own expense. You will be expected to be at the camp during hours of operation approximately 7 AM - 9 PM.
  • All your meals while at camp.

Let us know if you have any questions.
