HOW LONG IS A FELLOWSHIP BIBLE CHURCH SERVICE?

In total, a Fellowship worship service is about 75 minutes in length and is the same in all our venues. The service typically begins with a welcome and then through a blend of traditional and contemporary music, multimedia presentations, and practical teaching, we present the ageless truths of the Bible. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.

WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT FELLOWSHIP BIBLE CHURCH?

Weekend's at Fellowship are exciting, casual, and relaxed. You will see everything from jeans to business casual to coats and ties. Wear what you are most comfortable wearing in a large group! Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Families are always welcome to worship together in our corporate gatherings. However, if you would like to take advantage of the incredible programs and classes for your children on Sunday mornings, you can simply take them to our Fellowship Kids programs. We believe that kids should have a blast at church and learn about God every single week - and at Fellowship Kids, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Fellowship Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Fellowship Kids experience.
The Saturday evening service at Fellowship offers nursery (ages 0-2), preschool classes (ages 2-5) and Children’s Church for K-4th. Kids in Children’s Church participate in the worship service with their parents and are dismissed right before the sermon for a time of interactive teaching.
On Sunday mornings, we have ministry opportunities for nursery, preschool, and Elementary (K-6th) at 9 AM and 10:45 AM.
We have middle school and high school classes at 9 AM and 10:45 AM on Sunday mornings.

Each weekend, classes are offered with a variety of topics and lessons to help you gain a deeper understanding of God and His Word with our Biblical Training Center. There are class options at either 9:00AM or 10:45AM, depending on which worship service you choose to attend.  For more details about our Biblical Training Center and the current class offerings, click here: https://fbcva.org/biblical-training-center

Home Center  Before you leave after attending your first church experience with us, make sure you stop by the Home Center in the foyer. The Home Center contains a wealth of resources for families in all stages of life - it’s a one-stop-shop for tools and materials to equip you and help you build a God-honoring home one step at a time. What we do and why

"Reorienting our lives around the gospel of Jesus Christ"

Our gatherings are designed to tell the story of the gospel of Christ each week. They are creatively filled with songs, prayers, scripture readings, teaching, and other multimedia elements that all point us to the the greatness of God, our need for Him, His plan to rescue us, and our call to live for Him.
The opening phrase of our mission statement states "Out of a desire to glorify God as a spiritual community".  This desire to glorify God is the primary reason of why we gather. We hope to look upward "vertically" to give praise and adoration to God when we gather, all the while encouraging one another "horizontally" to pursue a life that brings Him glory, as well.  The worship ministry at Fellowship Bible Church is called to challenge our congregation to love God more

fully by providing corporate worship gatherings that remind us of 1) what God has done to bring us into relationship with Himself through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, 2) that celebrate the communion now possible with God, 3) that give attention to His word, and 4) that call us to recommit to live within the grace of this relationship with God and each other. In other words, we want to call FBC to reorient our lives around the gospel of Jesus Christ.
"Solid church with leadership based on biblical principles. All the resources of a large church with many small groups and other opportunities to get plugged in so that it feels like a small Church."
Michael Newlin
