CLASS: October 13, 2026 at 7 PM | SERVICE: October 25, 2026 at 6 PM (Potluck at 5 PM)
Baptism is an important step of obedience for every believer in Jesus Christ. After trusting Christ as Savior, Scripture calls us to publicly identify with Him through water baptism.
Water baptism is a beautiful picture of the salvation Christ has already accomplished in our lives. As we are immersed in water and raised again, we identify with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:1–5). Baptism does not save us or contribute to our salvation. Rather, it is a public testimony that we have placed our faith in Christ and have been made new through Him. It is one of the first steps of discipleship and an opportunity to publicly declare your faith before your church family.
We offer baptism services several times throughout the year and would love to help you take this next step in your walk with Christ.

What to Expect
The preparation process varies slightly depending on your stage of life.
High School Graduates and Older
Those who have graduated from high school are asked to attend the required Baptism Class before being baptized. This class explains the meaning and significance of baptism and provides an opportunity to ask questions.
Children (Kindergarten–6th Grade)
Children who desire to be baptized will meet with Children's Director Brian Weir, along with a parent or guardian, for a personal conversation about their testimony and understanding of baptism. Children do not attend the Baptism Class.
Students (7th–12th Grade)
Students who desire to be baptized will meet with a member of the Student Leadership Team, along with a parent or guardian, for a personal conversation about their testimony and understanding of baptism. Students do not attend the Baptism Class.
