Building on God's Faithfulness

Our desire is to faithfully steward every resource God has entrusted to us so that future generations will know Christ, grow in Him, and be sent to make Him known. We believe wise stewardship today will help equip Fellowship Bible Church to serve faithfully for generations to come.

As we seek the Lord together, may every conversation, every decision, and every step of this process reflect our shared desire to glorify Him and faithfully carry out the mission He has given us.

We are grateful for God's faithfulness throughout every chapter of Fellowship Bible Church's history. As we seek His direction together, our prayer is that this next chapter will provide even greater opportunities to glorify Him, strengthen His Church, and proclaim the gospel for generations to come.

May God continue to use Fellowship Bible Church to prepare and deploy dependent disciples of Jesus Christ who change their world for Him as they are being changed by Him.

As we look to the future, our confidence rests not in a building project or a master plan, but in God who has faithfully led His church through every season. Because He has been faithful in the past, we trust Him to lead us faithfully into what comes next.

Our facilities are not the mission. They are tools that can either strengthen or limit the ministry God has called us to accomplish. We desire to steward those tools wisely so they continue supporting the work God is doing now and for generations to come.

Our campus has become more than simply a place where we gather for worship. It serves as a ministry hub where our church family is equipped, our community is welcomed, ministry leaders are developed, and partnerships both locally and around the world are strengthened. As God continues to expand these opportunities, we want our campus to faithfully support the ministry He has entrusted to us.

This presents an opportunity, not simply to renovate buildings, but to thoughtfully align our campus with the mission God has already given us. Rather than responding to individual facility needs one project at a time, we have the opportunity to prayerfully develop a comprehensive campus master plan that better equips our church to carry out the mission God has already given us for decades to come.

Developing a thoughtful master plan allows future decisions to be intentional rather than reactive. Careful planning today enables us to steward God's resources wisely while preparing Fellowship Bible Church for the opportunities He continues to provide.

Our current campus has grown over many years through a series of building additions designed to meet the needs of a growing church. Each expansion faithfully served the ministry needs of its time. Together, however, these additions were never intended to function as one unified campus for the ministry opportunities God has provided today.

As a result, several aspects of our campus now create obstacles that limit ministry effectiveness.

Some of the most significant barriers include:

• A campus that can be difficult to navigate. First-time guests and visiting families can struggle to know where to go. Multiple public entrances and an often-confusing layout make hospitality more difficult than it should be and can create unnecessary uncertainty for those visiting our church for the first time.
• A fragmented children's ministry. Our children's ministry is divided into multiple areas, making security, check-in, and family navigation more challenging for both parents and volunteers. A unified children's ministry environment would better support both safety and discipleship.
• Limited spaces for fellowship and discipleship. Meaningful ministry often happens before and after worship services as people build relationships, encourage one another, and pray together. Our campus currently offers limited gathering spaces designed to foster those kinds of connections.
• Security challenges. The number of public entrances and the layout of several ministry areas make it more difficult to provide a secure environment for children, students, volunteers, staff, and guests than it should be.
• Aging facilities and limited ministry workspace. As our campus continues to age, deferred maintenance and aging infrastructure require increasing attention. At the same time, crowded offices, limited collaborative work areas, and spaces originally designed for a different season of ministry no longer serve today's needs as effectively as they once did.

These are ultimately ministry challenges expressed through our facilities. By addressing them thoughtfully, we can remove barriers that keep our campus from fully supporting the work God has entrusted to us.

As we look ahead, we envision a campus where:

• Guests arrive for the first time and immediately know where to go because the campus is intuitive, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
• Families check their children into one secure and inviting children's ministry environment that supports both safety and discipleship.
• Children and students have dedicated environments where relationships flourish and lives are shaped by God's Word.
• People naturally gather before and after worship in spaces designed for fellowship, encouragement, and discipleship.
• Ministry leaders, volunteers, and staff work together in spaces that encourage collaboration and better equip them to serve the church.
• Flexible spaces can adapt as God continues to open new doors for ministry in the years ahead.

Our goal is not simply to improve buildings, but to create environments that help prepare and deploy dependent disciples of Jesus Christ for generations to come.

Although the details will continue to develop, the process itself is intentionally designed to move forward one step at a time. Each phase builds on the one before it, allowing us to prayerfully evaluate opportunities, seek wise counsel, and make thoughtful decisions before moving ahead.

The process includes four primary phases:
Research: Church leaders, staff, and ministry teams have evaluated our campus, identified ministry opportunities, and prayerfully considered both current needs and future possibilities. This work has provided a foundation for the planning now underway.
Planning: Working alongside experienced ministry planning professionals, we are developing a comprehensive campus master plan that reflects our ministry priorities. During this phase, staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and church members are helping evaluate how our campus can better support the mission God has given us.
Decision: As the planning process continues, proposed plans will be shared with the congregation. Church leadership will invite questions, provide opportunities for discussion, and seek the Lord's wisdom before any final decisions are made regarding future construction or renovation.
Implementation: If a master plan is approved, renovations will be completed in carefully planned phases. Each phase will be designed to strengthen ministry, steward resources wisely, and minimize disruption to the ongoing life of Fellowship Bible Church.

Throughout every phase, our desire is not simply to improve a campus, but to faithfully steward the ministry opportunities God continues to place before us.
