WHAT IS BIBLE SEARCH?
Bible Search is designed to partner with parents by generating excitement for God's Word while expanding their children's knowledge and love for Him. It will continue for the next nine weeks, going through March 2.
HOW DOES THE BIBLE SEARCH WORK?
Each Sunday, at 5 PM, a text message will be sent to parents of 2nd-6th graders with a question that will be an extension of our weekly lesson from The Gospel Project in Fellowship Kids.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN BIBLE SEARCH?
Respond to the text message with the answer to the question, including your child's "First and Last Name" and the answer.
Note: If you have multiple children, a separate text response is required for each. The answers should be discovered by searching the Bible and its tools, such as concordances, tables of contents, etc. 'Googling' to find an answer is not acceptable. Parents are encouraged to participate by assisting their kids but not performing the search for them.
WEEKLY SPEED WINNERS
The first five kids to respond will receive the Weekly Speed Award each week. A child may only win this award once. Therefore, if they are one of the first five to respond another week, the prize will go to the child who calls in next.
PARTICIPATION WINNERS
A child will receive a Participation Award if they correctly answer the Bible Search questions for all 9 weeks. Responses must be submitted by 5 PM each Friday.
GRAND PRIZE WINNERS
Each grade will have one Grand Prize Award based on a drawing at our next Parent Luncheon on March 9. A child will earn a chance at the Grand Prize for each correct response. For example, if your child responds correctly to all 9 Bible Search questions, their name will be entered 9 times for a chance to win the Grand Prize.
