Who is coming to GCW 2023

What is Global Missions at FBC?

Global Church Week (GCW) is a special time in the life of our church that occurs every two years, where we have the opportunity to host many of our Global Church partners from around the world. Throughout this week, you will have opportunities to meet, interact, and fellowship with pastors and church leaders from places like Ecuador, India, Mexico, and Nigeria, among many more! This week is meant to give each of us a greater appreciation for the heart of God, His faithfulness for His people around the globe, and how we can trust in the hope He has promised us throughout our days as His church.

As we lead up to our Global Church Week 2023, please pray for the following:
- Ease of planning and travel preparation for each visitor who will attend.
- Smooth planning for all events and activities for the week.
- Preparation of hearts for all who will participate that this week will be a time of refreshment and encouragement as they break away from the daily routine of their ministry abroad.
- Preparation of hearts for us at FBC so we can be an encouragement to the visitors as well as gain a greater understanding of who God is.

How you can participate?

Join us for one, two, or more of the following events.

Global Church Worship Night

Join us October 8 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM for a multi-cultural night of worship in the main auditorium where we will have the opportunity to celebrate God's faithfulness over time throughout the world. Come at 5:00 PM for a Potluck Dinner.

Host a Global Church Partner!

You can invite one of our visiting couples to meet with you for a few hours on Wednesday, October 11 - you can choose to do whatever you want! Invite them to your house, go out to lunch, show them around town, whatever you want! Sign-up HERE!

Global Church Partner Ministry Update and Prayer Services

Listen to the reports and updates from each of our visitors, learning more about their church, their ministry opportunities, and their prayer requests in the main auditorium.

Session One - Thursday, October 12 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Session Two - Thursday, October 12 from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Session Three - Friday, October 13 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the main auditorium.

Family Night (Open House)

Join us for an "open house" for you and your entire family on Friday, October 13 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM to come and interact with the visitors where you can play games, sample some food, and experience their culture together. This event is happening at FBC.

CANCELLED - Fall Festival Day!

We are happy to have some rain, but sad to cancel our Fall Festival with the Global Church Partners!

Fellowship Family Meeting

Twice a year, FBC holds a congregational meeting that helps share some of the "behind-the-scenes" details of ministries here at FBC, and on Sunday, October 15 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM will also help be the conclusion of our Global Church Week as we send off our visitors back to their homes and church ministries. Dessert provided.
