The Helping Hands ministry focuses primarily on those within our congregation who may need short term, practical assistance with some of life’s challenges. The ministry focuses on the elderly, widows, widowers, and single mothers. We can also help families adjusting to the birth of a child, illness, surgery or an accident. Helping Hands is often facilitated through community groups serving those in their group. For those not in a community group, we ask the members of the Helping Hands ministry team to assist with the need. Team members serve as handymen, mechanics, and consultants regarding auto and home repair. Others provide transportation, provide meals, light housekeeping duties, run errands, and manage/coordinate projects.
