"The Incarnation of Jesus Christ” - Message
In Matthew 16:13 Jesus asked his disciples a very important question: “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” But then two verses later, Jesus asked them another question – one that had far-reaching personal implications: “But who do YOU say that I am?” It is a question that as believers in Jesus Christ we should be asking ourselves daily – “Who is Jesus to me, personally?”
Of course it was Peter who spoke up and answered Jesus: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and Jesus blessed him for his answer in verse 17. Many years later, shortly before Peter died a martyr’s death, he wrote his final letter to the believing church and concluded it with this exhortation: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). The better we know Jesus, the more we will love Him, serve Him, and become like Him. So join us each week throughout the Fall because . . . THERE IS NONE LIKE JESUS!
