Sackcloth & Ashes & Esther Engages

This week we will see how the Jewish people handled an eminent threat to their existence in the Persian Empire, and how they looked to divine intervention to save them from their arch enemy Haman. We will talk about the Cyrus Cylinder, the Persian Courier system and about Sackcloth and Ashes and how Mordecai encourages his niece to take part in a possible grand design of God to preserve the Jewish people in the Persian empire through her intercession to King Ahasuerus.
