1 Corinthians - Chapter 4:8-21

In summary, Paul used harsh sarcasm to get the Corinthians’ attention. He wanted to warn them to repent of sin that had been reported to him (by Chloe’s people). He has already dispatched Timothy to Corinth, and Paul’s every intention is to follow shortly thereafter with his own visit, which brought sorrow for sin and genuine repentance.
grateful, not boastful. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17

2: Have you been ridiculed for your faith? How do you respond?
3a: Who led you to Christ, or is presently discipling you? How do you show your gratitude?
3b: Further, who are you discipling?
4: What is the current state of your submission and obedience to the Lord’s commands?
