2 Corinthians - part 12
2 Corinthians 5:11-21
The Ministry of Reconciliation
✔️Verse 11 — Whom was Paul aiming to persuade, and of what?
✔️What about us? Whom do we aim to persuade? How can we persuade someone to
believe what we believe? (Be careful. This may or may not be a trick question. 😊)
✔️Verses 12-13 — What do these verses hint at what Paul was fighting against (or at
least addressing)? This had come up before in chapter 3.
✔️What are issues that people today raise against Christians and Christianity? How can
we address those issues?
✔️Verse 14 — “For the love of Christ controls us….”
What does Paul mean by this? What does Christ’s love controlling you mean to you?
What would life be like if Christ’s love truly controlled His people?
✔️Verses 14b-16 — What brought Paul to the conclusion that Christ’s love is so
controlling?
What else assures you of the controlling nature of Christ’s love?
