GIVING: GRACE IN ACTION

Part II

“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

But I want it to be a willing gift, not one given grudgingly.

A TRUTH: Cheerful, Happy, Enthusiastic Generosity is Contagious

Paul is quick to set expectations ????   but he also has a caveat, which is?

 Willingness!  

1. You can (continually) be generous

2. They will see God as the Giver and thank Him

3. The needs of the poor will be met

4. The poor will be full of joy toward God

5. God will receive glory 

What will this generosity prove?

Obedience to the Gospel

What will your obedience produce in them?

1. Deep affection for you; prayer for you

2.Recognition of God’s grace

Thanks be to God for His inexpressible gift! (ESV)
