The Word of God Removed and Unheard
•What do you think that looked like?
•The preceding vision was of the whole northern kingdom being annihilated -
•Which happened in 722 BC.
•The greater destruction occurred when Jerusalem fell in 586 BC -
•The entire nation was exiled and did not hear the word of God again until Ezra rebuilt the temple and the Law was rediscovered and read before the people in 515 BC.
•However, “Judaism” as a system of worship began during the Babylonian Captivity when the Israelites had no temple, functioning priesthood, or kings. - Dr. Constable on Ezra
