Note from the Elders

March 4, 2022

Dear FBC Family,

This week I resigned my position as elder of Fellowship Bible Church to concentrate on the discipleship of my family. The past few weeks have been a time of difficulty but they have also been a time of strengthened faith, of greater love and appreciation for Christ and His people, and of a deepening love of family.

As my family continues on the journey that our God has sovereignly prepared for us, we ask for your prayers and encouragement.

2 Corinthians 4:16 - 18
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

It has been an honor to serve as an elder and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for Fellowship Bible Church.

In Christ,
Greg Perkins
The elders would like to thank Greg for his years of service and respect his decision to give his attention to the discipleship of his family. Please continue to pray for them and encourage them.

The elders have asked that Mike Thomas assume the role of elder chairman and he has accepted. Please continue to pray for the elders as there is much work to be done as we continue in these times of transitions. God is leading the way and it is our desire to continue to follow His lead.

Thank you all,

The FBC Elders
