Partnering with Parents

To build God-honoring homes where Christ is known, loved, and followed.

Biblical Rest in a Restless World

We live in a world that never slows down. Schedules are full, distractions are constant, and technology keeps our minds moving at lightning speed. In the middle of all that noise, God offers something better — true rest for our souls.

That’s why we’re setting aside intentional time for you and your student to slow down together and anchor your hearts in Christ.

This event is designed as a shared experience for parents and students, creating space for honest conversation, biblical teaching, and panel-style discussion about what it really means to find rest — not just another escape, but deep, lasting rest in Jesus.

Together, we’ll explore how resting in Christ equips families to navigate an anxious, restless world with clarity, hope, and faith.

Event Evenings:
  • Fathers & Sons (Middle/High School) — March 6 at 6:30 PM
  • Mothers & Daughters (Middle/High School) — March 20 at 6:30 PM
  • 5th & 6th Grade Parents & Students — May 6 at 6:30 PM

Come ready to listen, talk, and grow together as a family.

Listen to the 2026 Breakouts Sessions:

All parents are invited to join us for an evening of encouragement, equipping, and community at our annual Parent Summit. As the needs of families continue to grow in our church and culture, this evening is designed to strengthen and support you as you navigate the joys and challenges of raising children.

Together, we’ll explore what biblically dependent parenting looks like and how to apply practical tools in everyday family life.

Why a Parent Summit?

Parenting is challenging.
Every parent faces daily situations that stretch our patience and faith. We all need space to grow in wisdom and understanding.

Parents need wisdom and guidance.
God’s Word offers timeless truth for family life. Through teaching, testimony, and discussion, we’ll look to Scripture and learn from others who’ve walked this road before us.

FBC partners with parents.
Our heart as a church is to come alongside families in the ongoing discipleship of their children—encouraging and equipping parents to lead with grace and truth.

Community matters.
The Parent Summit creates intentional time for parents across all stages of life to connect, share, and encourage one another through genuine fellowship.
