Summer at Fellowship

Living Out Love

Starting June 2 at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM!

Living in community as followers of Christ is God’s design. How each of us lives in community reveals our view of God to the world. We are called to love one another as the body of Christ, and this phrase "one another" appears over 50 times throughout the Bible. It's not just about being friendly or getting along - we are called to a higher standard of love that reflects the love of Christ. By loving one another as God has loved us, we enjoy the unity established by the Spirit, which enables others to become more like Christ.

Student Summer Conference

Calling all rising 8th through 12th graders, join us for a week in James! This conference is a week to dig deeper into God's word together as FBC students. The sessions are taught by students who have been trained through Disciple Makers Multiplied. Two of our own students, David Robinson and Eli Jones, will be part of the teaching team.

Cost is $25 for the week and lunch is included.

Summer Women's Gathering

Women in the Word, Summer edition, is an opportunity to meet women at FBC and get to know them more through discussion.  Each week, you will come in and either sit with the same five to six women or different women (this depends on your personality 😊).  While there is a weekly teaching time, there is no official homework or small groups.  The table you sit at will be your group for the evening.

God's Truth Never Changes

We hope you’ll take advantage of this incredible opportunity for your children (kindergarten through 6th grade (2023-2024 school year)) to experience VBS at Fellowship Bible Church with other kids their age from around Winchester and Frederick County. Fellowship Bible Church has been around for forty years and is responsible for caring for hundreds of children every week during our weekend services. We take that responsibility very seriously and promise to provide a safe and fun five days where your children will learn about Jesus.

Baptism

Baptism services are performed three times a year. A class is offered to fully explore what baptism means. If you would like to be baptized, we are here to help you take that next step in your relationship with Christ. If you are interested in being baptized and would like to get started, fill out the contact form below. You can also download the document below to help you prepare for this very important step in your journey of faith.  Children 6th grade and younger do not attend the class, but will interview with the Children's Director and their parent.

Mentoring

Mentoring at its core, guarantees a young person that there is someone who cares about them and assures them that they are not alone in dealing with the day-to-day challenges, and makes them feel like they matter. A mentor from Fellowship Bible Church is an Ambassador of Christ in an increasingly difficult world.

Mentors spend an hour a week with their mentee at the mentee’s school through the school year. The hope is that the mentee can continue the relationship year after year, giving the relationship time to grow and flourish.
